Compare
Compare Hey Quad with your current phone provider
Every national provider advertises a price before Florida’s communications services tax, and most of them before several fee lines of their own. These pages put their number and ours in the same column of the same table, run the Florida arithmetic on both, and say where the other one is the better buy.
Ours is $30 a seat with the Florida tax already inside it. Theirs was read at their own pages on September 8, 2026.
The comparisons
- Hey Quad vs Ooma OfficeOoma Office Pro Plus advertises $29.95 a seat, then adds four separate fee lines and Florida communications services tax.
- Hey Quad vs QuoQuo Business advertises $33 a seat monthly, with taxes and fees added at checkout and Sona AI metered per call in credits.
- Hey Quad vs NextivaNextiva advertises $15 a seat, which requires a twelve-month minimum term, and publishes no tax or fee disclosure at all.
- Hey Quad vs RingCentralRingCentral no longer publishes a RingEX seat price. Every tier says "Contact us for pricing", while the add-ons that make it usable are priced.
How these were put together
- Every competitor figure was read in a browser at that provider’s own page on September 8, 2026, not taken from a review site. Several of these pricing tables are built in JavaScript and do not exist in the served HTML, which is how earlier write-ups ended up quoting third parties.
- Where a provider publishes no number, the table says “not published”. We do not fill the gap with an estimate borrowed from somewhere else.
- Florida tax figures come from the Department of Revenue, the FCC and the Florida Statutes, and the workings are on the Florida phone tax page. Tampa’s combined rate is 13.46%.
- Competitor totals are given as a floor plus the fee lines nobody publishes, never as an invented figure. The floor is exact; the ceiling is theirs to disclose and they do not.
- Every page has a section saying where the other provider is better, because a comparison without one is an advert.
Providers we checked but have not written up
- Dialpad
- The pricing page publishes no seat price. It is built around a pool of AI Agent Credits billed "only when the AI retrieves information or executes a real action", with "Talk to sales" as the only path to a number.
- GoTo Connect
- Every plan on the pricing page routes to "Contact Sales". No price is published.
- Grasshopper
- Three plans billed annually at $168, $300 and $660, so $14, $25 and $55 a month. Priced per plan rather than per seat. The page states "Pricing subject to sales tax", extra numbers at $9 a month each, extensions at $3, and Campaign Registry fees of $19.50 one-time plus $1.50 a month. The monthly-billing figures are drawn as an animated digit reel and could not be read.
